U15 Cup 2022 Schedule
The Irish Under 15 Cup competitions for Boys and Girls will be played over three days in the Leisureland pool Salthill, and the Kingfisher pool NUIG, Galway on Friday 20th Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May 2022.
Competition Format
Boys
There are 8 x Boys teams entered and the competition is structured into two groups of 4 teams, played on a round robin basis with the top two teams from each group progressing to the semi-finals; the winners will contest the final (gold medal match) and the runner up the bronze medal match.
Girls
There are 7 x Girls teams entered in the competition and the competition is structured into one Group of 4 teams and one group of three teams, respectively, played on a round robin basis with the top two teams in each group progressing to the semi-finals, the winners will contest the final (gold medal match) and the runner up the bronze medal match.
Conduct of Competition
The 1st round robin in each competition finals will be held in Dublin and Belfast prior to the finals weekend, due to the number of entries at the finals weekend and the pool time available.
The 2nd round robin in each competition will be held on Friday 20th May in NUIG Kingfisher and Leisureland, with the 3rd round robin on Saturday 21st and the semi-finals of both competitions in NUIG Kingfisher. The medal matches will be held on Sunday 22nd May in NUIG Kingfisher.
