🏆 IRISH SENIOR CUP DRAW 2026 🏆 The draw for the 2 🏆 IRISH SENIOR CUP DRAW 2026 🏆 The draw for the 2026 Irish Senior Cup will be taking place at 16:00 on Saturday 18th April at Kingfisher Club NUI Galway. Competition Committee member, Eamon Caulfield and National Water Polo Committee representative, Theresa Moran will both oversee the draw. The draw will be conducted with full visibility, and a video recording of the draw will be made available. All clubs participating in the Irish Senior Cup are welcome to observe the draw, and we would encourage clubs who have scheduled matches on Sat 18th April in Galway to attend the live draw. Once completed, the draw will be emailed to clubs on Saturday 18th April and subsequently published on the Water Polo website and social media platforms on Monday 20th April.
Fixture Update – Sunday 12th April Due to ongoing Fixture Update – Sunday 12th April Due to ongoing travel disruptions, we feel it would be inappropriate to place travelling teams or officials under unnecessary pressure at this time. As a result, all league fixtures involving a travelling team scheduled for Sunday 12th April have been postponed. Fixtures involving teams from the same province (e.g. Leinster vs Leinster) will go ahead as planned, although please note that some start times may have changed. An update email has been sent to clubs Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Fixture Update - Saturday 11th April Following a Fixture Update - Saturday 11th April Following a review of all information available, we have made a decision to postpone all league fixtures involving a travelling team scheduled for Saturday 11th April. Fixtures between teams from the same province (e.g. Leinster Club v Leinster Club) will proceed as planned, although some start times may be adjusted. An update on fixtures scheduled for Sunday, 12th April will be issued by 11am on Saturday morning. An email with further details has been sent to all club secretaries. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
