Irish U15 Boys finish 24th at European Championships
17th July 2023
The Irish U15 boys team have finished 24th at the European U15 Championships which was held in Podgorica, Montenegro from the 8th July to the 15th July 2023.
The team were drawn a tough group in group D with Netherlands, Israel, France and Bosnia but this didn’t stop their determination and effort throughout the tournament where they gained valuable experience at such a high level.
We are very proud of the team and what they have achieved together to date and we look forward to seeing them back in the water next season.
We want to say a very big thank you to our team staff; Eoin Bridgeman (HC), Cillian Colvin (AC) and Oonagh Garry (TM) who have given up so much of their time this year to help and support the boys in their development as a squad and without their time and dedication trips like these would not be possible.
Congratulations also to our Referee Ian Hanrahan who was selected by LEN as the Irish referee for this weeks tournament.
