2025/2026 League Winners
This season of water polo national leagues has officially come to a close, with all eight leagues completed and champions being crowned.
In the men’s division, North Dublin secured the Division 1 and Division 2 league titles by comfortable margins, to go alongside their Irish Senior Cup win in May to cap off an unforgettable season for the club. Meanwhile in the men’s Division 3, Clonard WPC took home the title in the league’s first year.
On the women’s side, Tribes WPC continued their dominant form this season by winning the Division 1 title, and Clonard WPC joined their male club mates by taking home to Division 2 title.
The junior leagues brought their own excitement across the season, with tightly contested league phases and narrow victories. The boys U16 Division 1 title was won by Clonard WPC, after a three-way tie at the top! The Division 2 title went to Dublin’s Clontarf SC, by a sweeping margin. The girl’s U16 league also went the way of the capital, with Half Moon SWPC taking the title in this season biggest subscribed league.
Well done to all this year’s champions and all clubs for their efforts this season, along with team staff and officials. A well earned summer break is needed!
