Swim Ireland Awards 2024

The annual Swim Ireland Awards took place Friday, 8th November, at the Dunboyne Castle Hotel and among the award winners were some of the best in water polo!

Winning the new Outstanding Contribution to Aquatics Award was Keith Lynch (St Vincents Water Polo Club).

Winning Male Water Polo Player of the Year was Matthew Hynes (St Vincents Water Polo Club). Winning Female Water Polo Player of the Year was Méabh McGurk (Diamonds AWPC). Both were involved in Irish Senior Cup winning teams, with McGurk’s performance in the Cup Final contributed to Diamonds AWPC’s first ever ISC win.

Swim Ireland are incredibly proud of this years winners, we are grateful to have people within our community who give so much time, commitment and dedication to our sport. Well done to all our award winners and their clubs.
