SI WATER POLO
QUALIFICATION: Level 2 Water Polo Coaching
On January 18, 2020 Ireland Water Polo announced the appointment of Goran Sablic to the role of National Head Coach. Goran is currently the Irish Junior Girls Coach and Men’s Senior Coach, where he recently led the Men’s team to a fourth-place finish in the FINA Challengers Trophy in Singapore.
Goran brings with him a wealth of experience from playing professionally and coaching in his native Croatia along with his coaching experience with Corrib WPC here in Ireland. He will work closely with the National age group coaches, regional and club coaches to implement the National Squad Pathway and increase the standard of water polo in Ireland.
